About Us

We are a Venezuelan volunteer project that promotes English language education as a job tool for inhabitants of remote areas in our country with high tourism potential.

Since 2019, we have been teaching English in Los Roques, starting as the E-ROQ Project. It was founded thanks to Rafael Martínez, Bettina González, Aranza Gonzalez, and Isabel González, who presented the project and won the Resolution Project Fellowship at the Social Venture Challenge of the Harvard National Model United Nations 2019.

In 2019, we recruited our first cohort of volunteers, with an 8-week training program focused on soft skills, pedagogical tools, and knowledge about the communities.

After 3 years, we expanded our project to Canaima. Today, we are more than 80 volunteers who take on roles within the organization in addition to teaching English.
