Our Management

  • Management Report 2025

We began funding our work primarily through our own events and fundraising. In Los Roques, budget constraints led to a leaner, intensive-visit model, but the community celebrated the graduation of its very first cohort of students. Canaima saw its strongest year yet, with continued growth in enrollment, new classes for tourism workers, and deeper local partnerships. We added a Legal Team, refreshed our website, and made significant progress in data and impact tracking.

This year, we started a new role as official English teachers at the Gran Roque primary school in Los Roques while growing enrollment in both Los Roques and Canaima through an expanded, more tailored curriculum for different age groups. The volunteer team grew significantly and strengthened its structure with two new commissions—Impact Measurement and Travel-Only—while maintaining strong retention and closing the year in a healthy financial position.

Following our expansion to our new location, we've continued our work in Los Roques and Canaima. In Los Roques, the community provided us with a classroom for our classes and we had a donation of textbooks for our students. We've also welcomed 54 new volunteers, currently undergoing training to serve our beneficiaries. Our partnerships with local and international businesses have greatly aided our fundraising efforts.

After a successful pilot project, we embarked on explorations into new communities, and after a thorough exploration of their needs we expanded our project definitively to Canaima. Given our expansion, we rebranded our organization in 2022 as E-VEN Project (Education-Venezuela) We are currently training over 100 volunteers to serve more than 230 beneficiaries between Canaima and Los Roques.
