A new backpack, an activities book, and the certainty that learning, fun and life goes on.
Help us rebuild the country's future — starting with the education of the children now living in shelters.
What happened in Venezuela?
Two consecutive earthquakes struck on June 24, 2026, and in a matter of minutes, thousands of families lost the place they called home. Today they depend on temporary shelters across Caracas — and the organizations covering food, health, and housing are already on the ground doing that work.
But disaster recovery elsewhere shows a harder truth: shelters rarely empty out in a few weeks.
Recreational educational activities, answering the emergency the way we know how to
E-VEN Project was founded to raise educational levels in remote, high-tourism-potential Venezuelan communities by teaching English as a tool for opportunity. We've run weekly classes in places like Canaima since 2021. We believe education is a long-term engine of transformation — and that same belief is what's pulling us toward this new emergency.
Relief organizations are already covering food, health, and shelter. We saw a different, complementary gap: the sustained educational and emotional companionship that displaced children and youth will need through months, maybe years, of reconstruction — long after the emergency headlines fade.
